Everyday Living Literacy
All Abilities
(ACFE funded)

This course supports learners to strengthen their basic literacy and numeracy skills in a practical and inclusive way. Through activities that focus on teamwork, communication, health and wellbeing and simple presentations. Participants will build confidence, develop everyday skills and enhance their ability to engage in learning and community life.

Toasty Club for All Abilities
(ACFE funded)

Learning life skills whilst making lunch, engaging in social connection, board games and teamwork. Specifically designed for participants that have been in the 9:30am literacy and numeracy class before hand. Support workers are encouraged to attend with their participant.

Culture & Craft for All Abilities
(ACFE funded)

Participants will explore how different cultures express themselves through art. Each week focuses on a new creative theme. Experimenting, learning and celebrating diverse ways of making.
Across the term participants will build skills in self management, planning and organising as they create a collection of expressive pieces that will be proudly show cased at our end of year community event.

Gather & Groove for All Abilities

Gather to eat your (BYO) lunch and catch up on each other's life experiences followed by a dance and movement class designed to ignite your passion for fun and bring out your inner performer.

This is an all-abilities class, designed to support participants health and well being goals.

Holiday Program for All Abilities
Community Inclusion

Empower your independence this break with our inclusive holiday experiences designed specifically for adults living with disability. From hands-on creative workshops to sensory-friendly gaming and skill-building sessions, all hosted in a supportive environment. If you're ready for adventure, our community Incursions and excursions offer the perfect opportunity over 3 x sessions for the year.

Belvedere Community Centre is a Learn Local provider, and we run a range of pre-accredited adult education classes which are government (ACFE) funded *.

Learn Local providers can help you get the skills you need for study, work and life. They offer a range of training programs that can help you return to study, improve your digital, reading, writing and maths skills, gain a qualification, get a job, change careers or learn something new. There are many benefits to undertaking pre-accredited training at a Learn Local provider such as making new friends, improving your communication or preparing for further learning or work. Completing pre-accredited training can also help you to get new skills that you need for your job or even change careers.


*To be eligible for funded places you must be an Australian Citizen / Australian Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen.

Auslan Term 1 

These 8 week Auslan courses will help you to gain an understanding of the grammar & signs used in Auslan as well as learning to effectively communicate with deaf and hard of hearing people. This course is taught by Tracey who is profoundly deaf. All levels commencing week 6th of February 2024.

Level 1 Tuesdays | 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Level 2 Wednesdays | 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Level 3 Thursdays | 6:00pm - 8:00pm
